This work is focused on the redesign and improvement of the electrical measurements laboratory of the Technical University of Manabí (UTM). For which an exhaustive diagnosis was carried out, problems such as inadequate arrangement of desks, poor electrical installations and poor lighting were identified. Based on these findings, a new laboratory was designed following international standards, considering both technical and pedagogical aspects. The design includes the selection of equipment and tools necessary to develop technical skills in students. In addition, a redesign of the physical environment of the laboratory was proposed, optimizing the arrangement of counters and chairs to maximize comfort and functionality, as well as an adequate lighting system based on Ecuadorian technical regulations. The conditioning of the laboratory seeks to create a collaborative and dynamic learning environment, improving the quality of technical education and strengthening the research capacity of the UTM. The importance of a well-designed environment for student academic performance and research efficiency is highlighted. The implementation of this laboratory represents a significant advance in the educational quality of the UTM, improving the practical training of students and positioning the university as a benchmark in the region. The project includes a thorough diagnosis, meticulous design and careful conditioning, ensuring a valuable and sustainable resource for the university and the community at large.
